Reason for the role

As an Account Executive, you will use your negotiation and sales skills to make an impact. With strong problem solving abilities and an entrepreneurial mind set, you will take ownership in building a new business pipeline throughout APAC. Innovative in your methods of approach, you will pioneer forecasting opportunities, devising plans to map out your territory and bring a hunger to achieve your targets.

Coming to the office on a weekly basis (3-4 days) you will have the ability to contribute to the growing culture at Deliverect. In your success, you will contribute to what is set to be the backbone of the FoodTech industry!.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process of the Deliverect product, including collaborating with internal teams -Sales, Marketing, Product, Support, Finance and Legal Teams to ensure new business is flawlessly signed on.

  • Creatively prospect into new SMB sized accounts (1- 250 Locations)

  • Drive the sales cycle including qualification, education, pricing/quoting, contract negotiation to close deals.

  • Build strategic relationships with current and future business, leveraging your position with decision makers and enhancing business growth. Whether it be by phone, video call or getting to the prospect in person.

  • Outbound prospecting, social selling, web demonstrations and customer meetings. Leading the preparation of customer-specific product presentations and workshops.

  • Assessing customers needs, aware of the Deliverect value proposition, uncovering possibilities for cross-selling and upselling.

  • Detail oriented and meticulous in reporting engagement with customers, using data to generate reports and track forecast progress.

  • Responsible for personal target compliance, reliable revenue forecasting and ownership of sales pipeline as communicated through our Hubspot CRM.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of sales in the technical software environment, preferably in the area of SaaS, platform-as-a-service (PaaS). Experienced in new business growth in the Hospitality and FoodTech Industry field is a great plus.

  • Sales experience in the APAC SMB market, with software and hospitality being of high focus.

  • Established relationships, which will enable you to generate long lasting business.

  • Proven success in delivering on annual targets of over +$1M AUD in ACV or in new license sales 

  • Proud in your presentation with all forms of correspondence reflective of your strong desire to work for mutually beneficial outcomes with customers.

  • Knowledge in how to build territory and account plans.

  • Organisational acumen, able to structure your work in a goal-oriented way.

  • Entrepreneurial at heart, with the ability to analyse data as well as experiences.

  • University degree / Certificate or training experience preferable.

  • Currently located in Sydney with the right to live and work in Australia.

  • Native command of the English language, both written and spoken, with Mandarin being a great plus!
