Reason for the role

As the Head of Global Business Development, you will be a senior executive who will lead the strategic partnership teams responsible for Deliverect’s relationships with Tier 1 partners globally. 

This will require both execution on current strategies and developing bespoke agreements with future partners alongside working with Deliverect’s leadership to develop future strategies.

You will also be a critical thought-partner and influencer internally with regional leadership and the various department’s heads within the company.

Your team will be tasked to develop very deep relationshionships with an ever-growing cohort of key delivery platforms and POS partners and by doing so extend the reach of Deliverect products.

To be successful in this role, you must be an excellent communicator internally and externally. You are highly motivated, effective working across multiple, cross-functional teams, and able to get things done quickly. The ability to synthesize multiple sources of information across business/marketing and product/engineering and translate them effectively into short, medium, and long-term partnership strategy and prioritization is a must. You will bring strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think creatively and work independently.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Building deeper relationships with key DSPs around the globe, i.e. developing rapport at the strategic, technology and commercial levels in those organisations. The goal being to influence positively their roadmaps and their promotion of Deliverect within their customer base.

  • Building deeper relationships with the top 5 Enterprise POS around the globe. More specifically, developing rapport at the strategic, technology and commercial levels in those organisations. The goal being to influence positively their roadmaps and ensure the promotion of Deliverect within their sales channels.

  • Manage and develop further White-Label relationships for Deliverect. Creating a framework for white-label partner success.

  • Develop strategies to approach future strategic channels such as Google and Facebook and become the platform of choice to give them access to a restaurant pool.

  • Build a team of Strategic partner managers and Partner success managers to ensure regional coverage and world class engagement with partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with function and regional leaders across the business to to yield most benefits from the partnerships at the local and technology level

  • Be a global evangelist for Deliverect and participate in thought leadership conferences and media related activities. 


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in growing and leading a high-performing team.
  • Highly adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
  • Results focussed, can-do attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to keep up with the demands of a fast-moving business.
  • Excellent communicator.
