Reason for the role
Tasks and responsibilities
Management and responsibility of the company’s receivable accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate receipt of customer payments within agreed payment terms.
Responsible for customer communications related to payments and dealing with query resolution.
Daily reconciliation of bank statements.
Manage slow moving accounts and check on their situation internally and externally.
To be able to correctly identify clients that default on payment terms and the most appropriate course of action to take, taking into account the profile of the client.
Have a good understanding of the client and the nature of their business.
Go-to person for questions related to payments (internal and external).
Report on the open AR evolutions & actions taken to resolve issues.
Experience as a credit controller is required
Confidence and the ability to place pressure tactfully on individuals and companies who owe money.
Being able to build internal and external relationships.
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Spanish, French and English is required
Flexible but still punctual.
Eye for efficiency improvements.
Willing to take on challenges in a fast-moving environment.
