How Le Fitzgerald pivoted to pick-up with Deliverect

“I founded Le Fitzgerald in 2016,” says Guillaume Bénard, CEO and Founder. “The concept is centered around good quality food, tasty cocktails, and a feel-good, festive ambience. Le Fitzgerald is a place where you can gather with friends after work, enjoy some tapas and a few cocktails together, and just enjoy being together.”

Le Fitzgerald is experience driven: you only really get the full “Fitzgerald experience” when you immerse yourself in the restaurant’s refined Art Deco inspired decor. But when COVID-19 hit the restaurant industry and Le Fitzgerald was forced to close its dine-in services, the restaurant quickly had to come up with alternative ways of getting orders in. Enter Deliverect!

Introducing Click & Collect and delivery

“Before COVID-19, we didn’t do any off-premises orders,” Guillaume explains. “When we knew restaurants were closing, we had to think and act fast. We started working with Deliveroo to get our cocktails, finger food and seasonal dishes delivered to our customers. We put a lot of sharing plates and tapas on the online menu, because it’s fun, easy comfort food that’s elegant but at the same time very suitable for delivery.”

Le Fitzgerald ParisAnother online ordering option Le Fitzgerald implemented, is the Click & Collect store provided by Deliverect. “We were very happy with how fast Deliverect was able to set up our pick-up system,” he says. “Our Click & Collect page helped us showcase our dishes and cocktails. Uploading photos and adjusting the menu is really easy, so you can make changes instantly. The interface is just really easy-to-use.”

And now that restaurants have started to reopen? “Now that we’re offering delivery, we see that it’s a great way to generate extra revenue without any additional resources. And our customers have yet another way to enjoy the delights Le Fitzgerald has to offer!”
