How Le Fitzgerald pivoted to pick-up with Deliverect

Set in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, Le Fitzgerald is one of those places that can make you feel good as soon as you walk through the door. The restaurant and cocktail bar oozes quality and atmosphere - precisely why it was created. 

“I founded Le Fitzgerald in 2016,” says Guillaume Bénard, CEO and Founder. “The concept is centered around good quality food, tasty cocktails, and a feel-good, festive ambiance. Le Fitzgerald is where you can gather with friends after work, enjoy some tapas and cocktails together, and enjoy being together.”

Le Fitzgerald is experience-driven: you only get the “Fitzgerald experience” when you immerse yourself in the restaurant’s refined Art Deco-inspired decor. But when COVID-19 hit the restaurant industry, and Le Fitzgerald was forced to close its dine-in services, the restaurant quickly had to devise alternative ways of getting orders. Enter Deliverect.

Introducing Online Ordering and delivery

“Before COVID-19, we didn’t do any off-premises orders,” Guillaume explains. “When restaurants were closing, we had to think and act fast. We started working with Deliveroo to get our cocktails, finger food, and seasonal dishes delivered to our customers. We put a lot of sharing plates and tapas on the online menu because it’s fun, easy, elegant comfort food but also very suitable for delivery.”
