Asia’s on your doorstep thanks to Phood and Deliverect
Phood is an upscale Asian fast-food restaurant that was founded in 2010 by Benjamin Fétu. While the first, original restaurant is based in Bordeaux, eleven years later there are restaurants in several other cities across France, including in Paris, Bègles and Orléans.
With its slogan Manger Viêt & bien (Eat Vietnamese, eat well), Phood makes a promise to its customers: serve quality homemade dishes. Because even though the brand offers fast food, that doesn’t have to mean it is low-end food.
“At Phood, our ambition is to treat our customers with Asian dishes that respect our planet's resources,” says Founder Benjamin Fétu. “Whether red curry shrimp, Bo Bun, or Pad Thai, we take you on a journey to discover - or rediscover - the great classics of Southeast Asian cuisine.”
Taking up the delivery challenge
The restaurant chain started offering delivery in 2013. Benjamin quickly realized that this service came with a lot of extra work for his teams. In order to overcome the challenges associated with the delivery and to be able to reconcile it with on-site and take-out services, Phood decided to take a chance on Deliverect.
For Phood, one of the most crucial benefits of the Deliverect platform is that all the delivery platforms they are present are automatically integrated with their point of sale, eliminating the need for manual order entry. “We found out that it was possible to integrate our third-party delivery services with our current business systems. A single tablet to manage all orders
“Deliverect allows us to simplify our teams’ workflows by reducing the number of tablets. Since we use Deliverect for our order management, there’s no more juggling multiple tablets to manage incoming online orders,” he continues.
Deliverect aggregates Phood’s orders from all their online sales channels and synchronizes them in a single location. “Our menus are also automatically updated on each third-party delivery service. With Deliverect, we can focus on the kitchen first, and everything else comes later. Our operations are running a lot smoother, easier, and faster.”
Phood is now equipped to ensure an optimal delivery service while maintaining the quality of its food. Last year, the restaurant also launched an Online Ordering service called ‘Click & Phood.’
