Sweetheart Kitchen relies on Deliverect to enter new markets faster

Sweetheart Kitchen is a data-driven ghost kitchen startup delivering delicious meals from multiple brands to customers in Dubai and Kuwait. 

CEO Peter Schatzberg founded the company as an efficient, sustainable way to deliver food to hungry people in the region, with growth in mind from the outset.

“Sweetheart Kitchen was launched in Dubai in July of 2019,” Peter explains, “With our vision being to scale.”

Catering to the region's diverse tastes, Sweetheart Kitchen offers a variety of cuisines and meals from its enticing brands, from nutritious salad bowls and soups to mouth-watering burgers and locally inspired shawarma wraps.

To produce this range of cuisines from a single kitchen would be near impossible so they organized food production into a network of nodes, as Peter explains: “We have 21 units now supported by two central manufacturing units, one in Kuwait, one in Dubai,”

With such a smooth and efficient operational system, the team needed an ordering system to match. And as Sweetheart Kitchen uses several delivery aggregators to fulfil orders, it had to be able to handle orders coming in from multiple sources too.

Deliverect offers quick & painless implementation

For the team at Sweetheart Kitchen, using Deliverect proved to be a painless partnership from the beginning. The setup was simple and the system allowed them to take in orders from multiple delivery and ordering services and manage all the orders from one dashboard.

Karim explains what this means for Sweetheart Kitchen’s plans to scale: “Deliverect sits in between the customer/restaurant software and the aggregators. For us at Sweetheart Kitchen, it will allow us to enter markets much faster.”

Management can change menus & get insights from one place with Deliverect’s dashboards

Deliverect’s dashboards take in data from multiple delivery partners and the restaurant’s POS and make it accessible from one place. The menu management dashboard allows managers to upload and make changes to one main menu, which are then pushed out instantly to all the delivery aggregators.

With Sweetheart Kitchen operating so many brands with different menus, Adib Samara outlines the huge impact of this feature.

“From an operational perspective, it’s allowed us to upload our menus seamlessly,” Adib says, “Today, when we want to launch a campaign, as opposed to going to 10 different aggregators, we have one dashboard that can allows us to make as many changes [as we need] across multiple aggregators in a matter of minutes.”

Deliverect’s Insights dashboard collects all the sales data from the POS and delivery aggregators to produce charts, sales reports, and actionable insights, which are all accessible in one place. You don’t have to log in to multiple platforms and collate the information. 

Karim is particularly impressed with the design and usability of the dashboards: “Deliverect dashboards are intuitive, they’re user-friendly, and it allows us to check sales, anywhere, anytime.”
